Glad it has worked for you :-)
Just one word of caution - stay away from beehives - bees don't like H&S!0 -

I'm really pleased for you
If it does come back, try MooGoo shampoo, which is dearer but a bottle lasts for ages. You can't buy it at the supermarket though.
ETA If it's the "intensive" H & S you'mean, Moogoo is cheaper and contains no chemicals. I don't work for them by the way, just that it's the only shampoo that consistently works for my scalp problems.0 -
I use to suffer from psoriasis and stopped having protein whey drinks and it cleared up, so I cut down on pints of milk too. Wasnt sure this was the case so i started having the protein drinks just to experiment and it started slowly coming back. So i went back to the ban on dairy and it cleared up, must be a link?
.Still have some milk in coffee, tea tho.

I've suffered for over 30 years and now one of my kids has it tooi suffer from psoriasis, its always on my scalp, eyebrows, in the ears , either side of the nose. drives me mad.... ive recently switched shampoo to the new head and shoulders and suddenly my scalps flake free!!! and no itchyness either, is this a fluke or have i been missing something all these years? x

I've kept mine reasonably under control with the m-folia scalp stuff, but it doesn't seem to work for my DS. My ears still itch almost unbearably.0 -
My OH has psoriasis, it's particularly bad on his hands. But for the last 3 months I've been making him take a vitamin B supplement daily and his hands are much better. Not perfect but nowhere near as bad as they were.0

I've had psoriasis on my scalp and eyebrows for over 40 years too. Over these years I've tried all manner of lotions, potions and shampoos to help alleviate it.
The 'medicinal' shampoos are OK if a bit harsh to my hair. The organic ones are gentle but ineffective, I loved stuff like Body Shop shampoos though the psoriasis always returned.
The only persistently effective shampoo for me is H&S too. My scalp seems to have a cyclical pattern to outbreaks which I've never understood so I now use the same shampoo most of time only using Nizoral occasionally when things get out of hand.0 -
Sounds like seborric dermatitis, which I have and yes head and shoulders is the only thing shampoo that keeps it at bay
When it's really bad, I have to use nizoral shampoo for a few days, it's twice as strong. And for my forehead , side of nose I get daktacort cream0 -
Forget to say.. only bad itchy days or for a hard to control outbreak I use Clynol Aloe Sensitive liquid. It used to be Schwartzkopf hair tonic in a large tube but now that it's branded Clynol it comes in much smaller individual tubes.
On my scalp it's almost like magic. Nothing cures but this calms and soothes everything, albeit temporarily, enough for some balance to return to my scalp.0 -
I have a shampoo from the doctors, it stinks:eek: My scalp is the only place i suffer, but i do know someone who suffered terribly all over their body:(
They were ill and had to take strong antibiotics so couldnt drink alcohol , they did like a drink, straight away it started to clear up, never drank again and look like a different person now:T

I suffer from it too. I've used H&S before but it didn't affect the psoriasis at all (did help strip out the hair dye which is why I was using it though
