Weekday Lodgers

I would be interested to hear from employment "weekday lodgers".

1) Do you pay the weekday rent yourself or does your employer pay?
2) Do you rent five nights per week (sun-Thurs) or four (mon-Thurs)?
3) Are you on a contract? Do you lodge in the same place each week?
4) How many miles away do you work from your main home and weekday home?
5) Is this a temporary thing?
6) How much does it typically cost? My research suggests that it can cost as low as £49 per week in my area (all bills included). This would be cheaper than commuting.

    2) Mon to Thurs
    3) Yes he was. Yes he did.
    4) 150 miles from home, I believe about 10 miles from lodgings.
    5) Lasted a year
    6) He negotiated a deal with the B&B for £20 a night inclusive of breakfast and evening meal. This was near Nottingham.

Not something we currently do, though we have done.

    1. Comapny paid direct
    2. We rented for 5, Monday to Friday.
    3. Yes, contract. Ours was the same place over a couple of years - it was the employee that found the room whilst working down there.
    4. 180 miles from home and about 3 from work place.
    5. Went on for around 4 years
    6. Around £70.00, Herts.
