Buying a new house £300000

Hi,
My brother who is 52 who islooking at a house for 300000,he owns a house which is morgage free, he will rent that out for £500 a month,his savings are £50000.
He is also recieving £10000 rent from other property.
He doest have bad credit history, no criminal record.
Whats the best mortgage for him.
