I've just been reading through this thread. The one thing I did notice missing on your soa, and I haven't seen mentioned by anyone else is road tax.
You have 2 cars, but I don't see hire purchase? Are these cars both owned outright, could you down size, even one of them?
Another possible plus is can you pay your council tax over 12 months instead of the usual 10? Phone your council ckeck it out, I pay mine every 2 weeks by standing order.
Could your wife possibly do some sort of party plan sales work, or mystery shopping, or even just selling kleeneeze, avon?
