In desperate need for inspiration for my bro's 18th

Options
Hi all,

I'm really struggling for my brothers 18th! His birthday is 30/12 and has always asked for a joint Xmas present of clothes. He said 'clothes are fine' this year but mum has just bought him £250 of clothes and he's recently started earning and buying his own so I feel my usual gift of clothes is redundant this year!

For my sisters 18th's I got them both charm bracelets but can't do that for my bro and I'm stumped! Does anyone have any bright ideas?

Bit of background.. he's just come out as gay, but only to me (so far!) no one else knows (already feeling very awkward!) he loves theatre but is having a hard time with friends at college. He's not in to sport so that side of things is out. He also loves comedy so I did think about tickets to see a comedian but got concerned he wouldn't have someone he's want to ask to go! I'm the eldest sibling and known for nice, thoughtful gifts but I just can't think of anything and the only thing he's asked for is 'cleaning stuff for my new car'!

I'm so stumped, girls are so much easier in getting jewellery! Any recommendations would be very much appreciated! My budget is £50!

I will love you forever for help on this one :)

    A nice watch perhaps?

You could get him a Ticketline gift card, they seem to do tickets for everything! E.g concerts, theatre, festivals, etc. Your brother could pick something himself then and decide who to take. Hope this helps.

How about a St Christopher and money for a show if he chooses.

I'd buy him a really nice wallet, leather , perhaps with his initials on it , and put money inside so he has something to keep and use daily but can also treat himself.

For £50 could you maybe get theatre tickets to a West End play? They sometimes do deals/ cheap tix for 18-25 year olds, might be worth looking into that and going together if he's not too fussed on material things!

You could do a starter pack for cleaning the car like a bucket/couple of buckets, some good quality microfibre cloths, brushes for the wheels, a nice drying towel and some chemicals like a shampoo, a wax, wheel cleaner etc. Look to specialists like Clean Your Car or Elite Car Care (both online). If you choose a good brand to start with it'll go a long way.

Even Halfords stock some good'ish products. Some of the Autoglym is great, some is rubbish. Meguiars is another well known brand.
