I'm just looking at a laptop on Littlewoods which is fairly competitively priced. It's the Acer Aspire S 13 Intel® Core™ i3 Processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD Storage, 13.3in Laptop - Black in case anyone's used one?
On their website it says electricals qualify for 25% back if over £299 and you buy on the Buy Now Pay Later scheme.
It seems like you get 12 months interest free to pay off the balance before the interest kicks in?
The laptop is listed at about £550. So if I did this, I could get 25% of that (as vouchers I assume) back which is £137.
I guess he catch is that people don't end up paying the balance off before the interest free period ends. Plus when they get the money back, they have to spend it at littlewoods, repeating the cycle.
Am I missing something? Too good to be true?
Thanks.

1. Buy an Electrical product and select Buy Now Pay Later in checkout.
2. We’ll automatically credit 25% of the Electrical product price back to your account by 28th December 2016.
Buy Now Pay Later allows you delay payment for 12 months. The payment free period starts when you place your order. Avoid interest by paying in full within the payment free period. Find out more in checkout.
Select Buy Now Pay later at checkout and 104 or 156 weeks. This is the interest bearing payment term you will pay over if you do not pay in full within the payment free period. Interest based on account terms.
Delivery charges are payable on your next statement.
If you return your item, the credit will be reversed. This offer can’t be used in conjunction with other offers.

Its £599 on Littelewoods http://www.littlewoods.com/acer-aspire-s-13-intelreg-coretrade-i3-processor-8gb-ram-128gb-ssd-storage-133in-laptop-black/1600099969.prd?_requestid=1239
I did this last month on Very when they had 10% back.
Its not a voucher, its credit back to your account.
I bought my headphones on BNPL, then waited til the 10% had been credited which reduced my balance and then I paid it all off.
I find Littlewoods horrendously expensive though, even though Very are owned by the same company, I looked at a garden furniture set and on Littlewoods it was £300 more than Very :eek::eek::eek
That laptop os £100 cheaper at Very and they are doing 10% off so Littlewoods deal isnt great.
So littlewoods is £599 - 25% = £449.25
Very is £499 - 10% = £449.10I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
