Lack of training

Any advice in convincing work that I need some training? In a nutshell I work above my grade in a technical position.

I liaise with lots of highly skilled people who all have specific qualifications and in many cases I review their work from a technical point of view.

I have asked numerous times through the official channels and my requests have been documented. I have also identified the areas of weakness in my knowledge but my requests seems to be ignored.

Some of my current work load is stressing me out due to a lack of knowledge in some key areas.

Learn on the job? Ask other people for advice about your work? Sign up for a part time course? Seek a different employer?
  • Hi thanks for the reply and sorry about the delay in replying.

I have put in another request for formal training. I have not asked for anything more than what my colleagues have been put on.
