If you want to use say a spend £40 and get £6 off your shopping voucher. The offer always excludes alcohol, cigarettes etc.
If you was to buy a case of beer as part of your weekly shop, would you not be able to use your voucher.
If so, would you have to have a shop entirely of groceries to use said voucher.

Usually it only excludes spirits, etc. Beer should be fine.0

If your shop (excluding alcohol) comes to £40 or more, you will be fine.
If your shop (excluding alcohol) comes to £39.99 or less and you then try to add a few beers to get it over £40, no this will not work.0 -

Tesco vouchers exclude many things such as gift card etc, but they do scan as long as the threshold is met.0 -
I have been sent some of these and noticed about the no go for alcohol in the small print.
I have been trying to put together some items to reap the benefit of the discount, but my goodness it is difficult when alcohol is taken out of the equation:)Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
It may not be a general ban, but sometimes there can be exclusions e.g. Everyday Value alcohol items.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0

I currently work for Tesco and the other week staff received 20% discount (assuming they've been at Tesco for six months or longer with a Privilegecard).
The terms said any alcoholic items that would've fallen under the minimum pricing guidelines would therefore be excluded and I'd imagine that *might* be the case for any £X off a £XX spend coupon. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history.
