    Hi, I am in a similar situation now, just moved in. Did you get the consent to let?
  • Hiya, yes I did, you shouldn't have anything to worry about if you have a valid reason. They didn't even require evidence of my situation (although I enclosed some with the application form for reference). I rung up to chase a couple of times and each staff member basically said they've never experienced anyone not getting consent. Good luck.
