What a non issue.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0

The article is complaining about the fact that Lib Dem activists were delivering leaflets on remembrance Sunday.
I really don't understand why that is a problem? What is wrong with observing the 2 minutes silence at 11am and then going about your daily business?
Describing it as "sickening" sounds like a hopeless and ridiculous exaggeration. The kind of over-the-top exaggeration that is poisoning our politics.
I went out to Tescos on Sunday afternoon, by that logic I am also "sickening". And I guess everyone else in Tescos at 3pm was "sickening" too.0 -
I agree with Mayo, a total non issue.
I bet the folk popped into shops or petrol station and would have been the first to complain if they all closed for the day for quiet reflection0 -
I agree the leaflet thing is a non issue. The Libdems should be more concerned about his complete lack of impact on voter support and his obsession with remaining in the EU.0

Given their abject polling since entering into the coalition, their support for remaining in the EU probably makes sense for them, it at least differentiates them from everyone else and there is probably a respectable sized minority that agrees with them, so for now if nothing else it gets them a bit of coverage and maybe a bit of additional support from some voters who may otherwise feel ignored.
Its not as though they have many voters to lose!0 -
The Liberal Democrats are driving me absolutely crazy with their daily onslaught of paper bearing facile and twisted sound-bites that keeps dropping through my letterbox, sometimes twice a day. It's a waste of natural resources and money that should be used better, quite frankly. I've written to them asking them to stop, and also saw off a 'leafleter', but to no avail. This is counter-productive, and makes me even more determined to never, ever support them on anything. Can't stand Farron and Clegg.0

Wanting another referendum makes a mockery of the name Liberal Democrats. Which bit of democracy don,t they understand.
Meanwhile, Clegg makes a fool of himself by saying that our participation in an EU army is essential only five months after calling it a dangerous fantasy.0
