Ive just started to get myself back on track and take control of soe situations I ignored.
I had a debt which I have being making payments towards since June.
However I have now received a claims form from "Howard Cohen & Co" & Hoist Portfolio which wants to take me to court. But Im already paying this off?
I dont understand what I need to do at all as have never had this problem before.I hope this is in the right section
Many Thanks

Hi Luke
What type of debt is it for and has there ever been a period of at least 6 years where you didn’t make a payment or acknowledge the debt in writing? I’m just wondering whether it might be statute barred.
Seeking legal advice as sourcrates suggests is a good idea anyway.
