At least they have there number showing on my phone so i ignore the calls, this company is out of order and i seem to be banging my head up against a brick wall.

Writing debts off is just an accounting exercise for the lender, the debt is still outstanding and repayable on the same terms as before.
Please note, MooseJuice, that the views expressed by the 'resident' T Roll are those held by the Debt Collection Industry of which T Roll is a member.
IF there was even a glimmer of truth in the statement that 'writing off debts is just an accounting excercise for the lender' and 'the debt is still outstanding and repayable on the same terms as before.' then I dread to think what is going to happen to those African countries who have been rejoicing in the fact that the G8 Nations have promised to write off huge chunks of their debt.
Are we to believe that the richest nations of the world will simply pass these debts to Debt Collectors like CRAPQUEST?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I owe natwest £14,000 which has been passed over to Capquest (a whole lot more than you owe)- i pay them £23 a month at present and have done for nearly a year now - they used to call every day - now I don't hear from them at all - if they think they can bully you into paying more they will - if you stand your ground and when they threaten court bailiffs etc say go ahead they will back down - but you need to sort out a statement of means and send it to them telling them how much you can afford to pay - and make sure you pay it every month - if you have been honest in your SOA I doubt any court would make you pay more0
