Gets the most worthwhile channels?
Confused as to which does what..
I am put off signing up for Amazon Prime, with a yearly payment, as don't order much (postal) stuff to justify the cost..
Though there is a series coming up early 2017, that I want to see! (Britannia, being shared with Sky TV)..

Depends what you want it for.
Now TV is good value as you can get all the Sky content and you can get a box and a few months subscription for £20-25. There are also iPlayer, ITV Hub and 4od apps built in.
If you own an Apple device then you can send things to Apple TV from apps using AirPlay. Apple TV also has Netflix and Now TV built in.
Amazon Fire stick is cheaper, has Netflix and Amazon TV built in plus apps for BBC, ITV and C4.
So first work out if you want Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Now TV (Sky). Then get either a Now TV box or an Amazon Fire stick. Apple TV is only worth it if everything else you have is Apple.0 -
probably Netfix, and Amazon Prime if there's a monthly sub option- I don't use site enough (for purchases), to justify upfront yearly charge..breathe in, breathe out- You're alive! Everything else is a bonus, right? RIGHT??0

There is a monthly Prime Video subscription of £7.99, so the annual fee works out cheaper as you get two months free, plus free delivery and limited free music streaming. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201994480
I think if Amazon and Netflix are main things you want, then get the Amazon Fire stick https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-W87CUN-Fire-TV-Stick/dp/B00KAKUN3E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479721387&sr=8-1&keywords=fire+stick
Maybe wait until Friday as it almost certainly will be on a black friday deal.0 -

You mention the series your wanting to see called Britannia then why not get a Now TV box or a Roku TV stick as it covers all your bases. The stick can be bought from Currys for £18, wait for Black friday and see if anyone has 1 on reduced.
The Roku 2 box is £70 at Currys.
Theres also the chromecast.0
