A week off work to decorate sounds great!
Think I have got a plan:
Sun: sausage casserole with baked potatoes
Mon: chicken pasta bake with green beans
Tues: spag bol and HM garlic bread. Kids favourite so it's on the list every week!
Wed: kids - southern fried chicken and savoury rice; adults: cauli cheese with bacon and mushrooms (Hairy Bikers recipe)
Thurs: enchiladas and broccoli
Fri: mince and dumplings
Been reading the thread missymoo started about feeding a family for about £130 a month, mostly vegan. Now that sounds difficult - !! Lots of planning ahead. I feel quite lucky to just be trying to keep a handle on costs out of preference, not necessity.GC Feb 2019 (to 10th) £397.07/£3000 -
Thanks for starting this off and give me a kick up the bum to make a plan!
In no particular order...
Spinach, feta and pine nut filo pie with Greek salad
Mozzarella and tomato Gnocci
Marinated chicken thighs, new potatoes and spring greens

Seabass and stir fried veg
Out on Friday night so a meal out...
Weekly basics shop for lunches etc tomorrow or Tuesday so it may change slightly depending on whats on offer0 -
Ooh nice. Today we had duck breast, sumac seasoned sweet potato fries, sprouts and broccoli. In the coming week well have chicken casserole (2 days), lentil pie (2 days), seafood paella, pasta bolagnaise and a roast chicken on Sunday. It's all pretty loose and depends on mood and time. Lunches are leftovers, sandwiches or jacket potatoes. Breakfasts will be porridge, cereal, toast, eggs, fruit or yogurt. Most of the evening meals above will be accompanied with seasonal veg.0
