Decor ideas and inspiration!

Hi all!
Thought this would be a good place to seek inspiration - I need to decorate my lovely community's little village hall for our wedding next summer. I'm thinking of a very natural palette with lots of greens and whites, a few shots of deep blue here and there... But I really want to make the hall look special and weddingy, rather than...just a village hall! Do any of you have any cheap and cheerful ideas?
We already will be doing:
Bunting in our colours
Fairy lights on the beams in the ceiling
Ivy garlands strung around the place
antique glass bottles artfully flung around (Gift from MIL to be)
Candles(???)
Kind of stuck to be honest! The thing about a village hall (and I guess any venue) is that you can't put nails/pins/hooks into the wall so I can't hang things easily unless from the beams. Really want the place to have the 'wow' factor when guests walk in..but on a lemonade budget!
Also we have some really ugly school type chairs to work with. Covers don't fit over them so not sure how to pretty them up...or whether it's even worth bothering?
I would very much welcome any ideas/inspiration/advice from those who have gone before!

LED candles/ tea lights in pretty holders, as you might not be allowed real ones.
Lots of wildflowers in vases, B and SIL just had cheap IKEA carafes for theirs.
Bows on the chairs? Or would that just highlight them?0 -
Go on pinterest or google image search.

For the chairs, cut this shape <>, to whatever size you want, fold it in half over a long piece of ribbon and glue down (add as many as you want along this ribbon) and depending on what the chair looks like you can tie it on. You can decorate / type on this bunting like your names, dates, marriage quotes etc or just pretty them up with whatever you can find going cheap! Large reel of ribbon can be found cheap on a certain auction site, then all you need is copier paper.0

How ugly are the chairs? Is there a stage with curtains? These could be covered in net or voile. Get supplies and / or ribbons form Aliexpress - its direct form China and often cheaper than ebay. How about bunches of floating balloons form the tables to add height and interest.
Do you have a pic of the internal hall for us to have an image to work with?Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

My sil used jars collected by relatives. Tied on hessian and ribbons and buttons as well as string and laces etc. Very cheap and then filled with grasses and wild flowers and wheat. Some of the jars had candles.
If you Google wedding jars on Pinterest loads of ideas com up.

This is one of the links that Pinterest took me too. Hessian looks very natural and is cheeeeeeep like the budgie so may be worth a look.
