I think it was 1930s

The de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moth was a 1930s biplane designed by de Havilland and operated by the Royal Air Force and others as a primary trainer.

Thanks, found conflicting info on WWW so had a bit of a editing session.

Play mention 1930's on one of their experiences so that should be right.
