Free home fire safety check in Merseyside area maybe other area as well

I'm not sure if this has already been posted but
Merseyside fire & rescue service are doing free home saftey checks (for the merseyside area including parts of Wirral). What they do is check you appliances and plug sockets and also fit free smoke alarms were not present. I got the leaflet from Birkenhead Jobcentre.
The help desk number is 0800 731 5958.
Just phone and say you would like your free home fire safety check. They will give you a time and day but please be aware that the officers are on duty and may get called away to an emergancy but the help desk will call you back and book another appointment.
