Hi - well done on getting the 0% card
I just got mine the other day - such a surprise!
The way I think about it is you can only do what you can do. Just get as much debt onto your lowest cards and just keep chipping away at it.
Good luck

Hi lunar - I know the feeling; I used to try all sorts of things but I've found the most effective (by far) method has been to just set a budget and stick to it. E.g. I've allocated £x per month to debt repayment and I let the snowballer tell me where to pay it. IF I ever have any 'extra' money, and it really really is 'spare' then I'll overpay. Never happened yet though

However, claiming back old cc charges has helped loads (hopefully got more to come). Strangely going to 0% hasn't helped as much as I hoped it would, so that's something to bare in mind too. I know this is obvious, but the only thing I can see that will make a big difference is to increase the amount £x that I pay monthly - helps concentrate the mind i guess

Can you just not pay £500 off the mint card with your barclaycard! Or am I being a bit thick, can you make payments on credit cards with other credit cards?Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

no you arny allowed to do that you could only do it via balance transfer.
I think im going to stick with my goal of getting rid of the BC asap. I will feel better once it is closed.
