    My calculations show this will be needed in December 2017, but I agree with the gist of what you are saying.
    I agree. I only paid attention to the longest dated 0% period!!
    You should pay attention to the needs of the moment - otherwise there is no future. But to ignore the future is foolish - living solely for the moment leaves nothing for when the next moment arrives.

    Worst case I will continue as is and pay down my debt by £1000 of the capital per month for another year and look at the situation again then...

    That might well be your best option.
    The issue...
    Due to getting out of a long term relationship 2 years ago and having to relocate and start from scratch I have incurred a lot of unsecured debt due to living excessively (fist year) and having to kit out a new house etc.

    Lenders won't care about the reasons. In black and white appears that your money management skills are poor. Climbing out of the hole under your own volition is the way to earn brownie points. Concern for any lender is that you are simply going to rack up debt again.

    Lenders are under a duty now to lend responsibly. So they have to consider the wider picture too. Not just the debt owed to themselves.
