The Yorkshire Vet Series 3: Competition 2 – Additional Terms and Conditions

1) The prize comprises:
a) Standard class return rail travel for two from UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to Darlington unless the winner’s home address in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights and transfers to the hotel;
b) Return private transfers for two between Darlington train station and the hotel OR car hire for duration of stay with GPS, picking up from and returning to Darlington train station;
c) Four (4) nights’ accommodation for four (and up to 2 dogs) at Dexter, a converted 5-bedroom self-catering barn in Ravensworth, Yorkshire (subject to availability);
d) Private chef to cook a 3-course dinner on one evening, includes ½ bottle of wine per adult; and
e) £500 spending money.
2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed by 30th January 2018. The trip cannot be taken over any UK Bank Holidays (14 – 17 April 2017; 1 & 29 May 2017; 28 August 2017) or Christmas & New Year (23 December 2016 – 2 January 2017). The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) Hire of a five door car (Ford Focus estate or similar) for duration of stay with GPS. The car hire is available where the winner or one of the winner’s companions must be the driver aged between 25 and 75 and in possession of a full, clean licence held for at least 3 years. Holders of non EU licences must also produce an international permit valid for at least one year. The lead driver must be in a possession of a valid credit card (not a debit card) with a minimum of £750 available for security deposit to collect the car, which is refundable upon safe return of the car and provided the car is returned to the drop off point with the fuel gauge at the same level as when the car was collected. The car includes unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver with nil excess, theft protection, local taxes and fees. Fuel is not included.
5) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the property. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the property for security deposit purposes.
6) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
7) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
8) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
10) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
11) Video footage and images provided by Holiday at Home.
