It's quite possible you will never hear from the again. If they've realised there's nothing in it for them cash-wise, they will simply ignore you as writing to you will cost them £££'s."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

And wouldn't that be nice. :beer:0 -
Hi Burnt, nothing to add to help but I'm watching this thread because I have a similar size debt with MBNA/Virgin/Aktiv (which is now with Pra) and have been paying it back for a similar length of time as you. Card was taken out in late 1990's in a shopping centre. I'm in a DMP and now considering going it alone and sending out CCA letters so I'm very interested to see how you get on. This is my biggest debt and if I could get rid of this one it would make a massive difference.
Are you making token payments or have you stopped paying them altogether?0 -

I have heard nothing since.0 -
So.....
I have had no further postal correspondence with the PRA Group since requesting that they provide the documentation, however in the past month or so they have taken to calling me on my mobile twice a day. Each time it goes to VM and the message requests that I call them back.
The default for this account is set to drop off my Credit record in February. I assume they are making a last ditch attempt to engage me to settle the alleged debt?0 -
A letter, or email advising the current status of your CCA request, plus the fact the account should still be "on hold", might be appropriate.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Aside from the original letter providing part detail and then advising that they would supply the rest of the information as requested and as required ASAP, I have had zero written correspondence with them since and it must be coming up to a year now.0 -

Which usually means they cant provide it, ask for clarification on this.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. So basically I need to write back to them asking to provide me with an update and current status of any debt?0 -

Given the age of the agreement (pre-2007), aren't they required to have the original, signed agreement?0
