edited 8 November 2016 at 6:36PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
My local Aldi had stocks of certain Lacura makeup last weekend - the concealer pen (like Touche Eclat) and mineral foundation in Cashmere and Amber shades, eye pencils in several shades, and lots of different types of mascara including the 3-D effect one.

Catch 'em while you can!

(I was disappointed that they didn't have any of their BB/CC/cream foundation but I live in hope it may return one day)

Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 8 Nov: Lacura cosmetics are back at Aldi as part of its ‘special buys’, including a 2.8ml concealer pen for £2.99 (in store only). Forumites swear it works just like YSL Touche Éclat, which is normally £25ish for 2.5ml. We haven’t seen this in stock since April so go quick if it’s something you’d like.

Big thanks to C J for the spot!

Can anyone tell me if this make is worth buying please. All reviews welcome
  • I have found the concealer to be equally as good as Touch! Eclat, HTH

I use the eye pencils (good staying power), the 3-D mascara (makes my lashes look really long and thick, a bit like Benefit's Bad Gal, and it doesn't flake or smudge), the concealer (just like Touch Eclat) and their CC cream which has excellent coverage and the fair/light shade suits my skintone perfectly.

I've not used their eyeshadows, mineral foundation or lipstick/gloss but I would be interested to know what other people thought of these.
  • How much does the concealer usually cost?
Would love to try it, but can never find it.

I bought their eyebrow pencil at the weekend (also has a brush on the other end) and thought it was fine. Not too soft so that it smudges.

My wife swears by the concealer the pen (like Touche Eclat) but on the last two occasions the button has 'stuck' when the concealer hasnt been empty.

Fortunately the second time she had kept the receipt, so took it back for a refund (with no problem at all) so I would suggest keeping the receipt, just in case.
