Hi I know its a bit away but will soon be here and seeing if there was a solution.
I understand that when you apply for a mortgage the bank will check the last 6 months, we are very good with our money.
We are looking at applying for a mortgage in June 2017 as we will have 10% saved as well as a little money for fee's etc etc, my partner doesn't want to apply with a 5% only a 10% that way it will be cheaper each month.
I June my partner has yearly car insurance and I have my mot and july I have my yearly insurance, whats the bets way about paying these as its a big chunk on our statement when applying for mortgage, I know its money out of our account and not credit card or anything.
thanks

The bank aren't going to glance at your statement and think "wow, that's a lot of spending this month" without looking any deeper. They're looking to confirm affordability, which isn't made worse by it happening to be the month for some annual expenses. Don't worry about it.0
