Well im 25 and having started a new job now find myself in a position where my income covers my bills and debt payments but leaves me with nothing for food etc. This is not the major issue i know i could get a 2nd job to bring in extra cash but cant seem to get something that fits in with my current job this also does not bring my levels of debt down as i have stupidly spent a lot on credit cards which just wont go down. I really want to fight my way out of this and not end up bankrupt or on an IVA and will do anything to get there as soon as possible. please please anyone with tips or advise get in touch. I need the guidance of experience here.
My Debts as roughly calculated to date are
approx - 32,000 including 9k on cards 1.6k on overdrafts and the remainder on personal loans

Hi and welcome. To be able to help we need to see your full statement of affairs - all you income and outgoings, full details of all your debts, balances, APRs, minimum payments etc. See the sticky at the top of the forum for first time posters for help on how to complete one. So long as you have no secured loans then ordinary loans and credit cards you can offer lower payments get interest frozen in order to have more money to live on. It will effect your credit history but is the mildest of actions you can take, IVA and bankrupcy are far far worse.
So there is hope but please go with either CCCS or Payplan, or take advice from the CAB also the National Debthelpline website have an information pack and all the template letters payment calculators you need to run your own. I have done it myself and several others and its relatively easy and slightly more flexible.0
