Thinking of holding a clothes sale, advice sought

Hi everyone
I have been having a sort out and am embarrassed by the amount of clothes I have, many unworn because I change size so regularly! Some of them are really good makes too.
I have been thinking of perhaps holding a dress sale at home to raise some cash for Christmas, and wondered whether anyone has had any experience of doing something like that and if so if you have any tips?
