Help to buy equity loan New build warranty question

Hi
Long time listener, first time caller.
I'm in a position to purchase a new build property with htb eq. The only issue I have is the developer it's using an architect certificate or pcc instead of a warranty/nhbc. It only gives 6 years cover on the architects liability insurance
Does anyone know if this will fly with the htb people. The only bit I can see on their website says most new builds come with a warranty for 10 years, not that the properties have to have that length of cover.
I hope someone can help. Mortgage advisor is asking about for me but hasn't had anything concrete back yet.

To use the equity loan scheme the builder would have to be signed up with the help to buy scheme already. Assuming the builder is signed up I would have thought that the HBA would have checked to make sure this isn't an issue.

Yeah he is in the scheme and I'm living in one of his at the moment, but due to some poor timing by my soon to be ex wife we have to sell. We bought this with htb equity loan as well.
I've found a company that will upgrade the pcc to a ten year warranty for a fee, but just wanted to see if anyone had got a pcc through htb before0 -

We have had an offer accepted on a new build property but HSBC won't release our mortgage as the property only has a 7year pcc not a 10 year warranty
