We have 10,000 sample boxes being given away at Cake International in Birmingham this weekend. They are flying off the stand so we will run out over the weekend. Don't worry, we'll make sure that every cake maker who wants a free sample gets one - we'll even post it to you free!
We're making 1,000 available each week for the next month - if you find it marked as 'sold out' please use the 'EMAIL ME WHEN BACK IN STOCK' function above and we'll automatically email you the moment the next batch is available. Please note these samples won't be in the pretty pink boxes we used at Cake International, but at least you'll have the chance to try Couture for yourself. Please allow a few days for delivery - our Clean Room team are working flat out!

As far as I was aware I qualified for this and had a conforming email, followed by another a little later saying that the order was cancelled?! I have no idea why. I hadn't applied for this in the past so can find no reason why it was refused.

We gave away 10,000 sample boxes at Cake International in Birmingham last weekend. They flew off the stand and we completely ran out over the weekend but don't worry, we'll make sure that every cake maker who wanted a free sample still gets one - we'll even post it to you free of charge! All we ask is a little patience . . .

We've posted out a further 2,500 this week and a new batch of 1,000 is now available to order for posting out next week. We'll send everyone's sample out just as quickly as we can but please bear with us - our Clean Room team are working flat out!

We can't send a free sample with orders for the same product (ie if you're ordering a 5kg box of Couture then there's no point in us sending a free sample of Couture), nor can we send any orders (including samples) to customers supplying false email addresses and phone numbers - we need a correct email address and contact number in order for the couriers to send you email / text alerts. Please understand that we're not trying to be mean, but we've thousands to prepare and we need each one to go to an actual cake maker, so please help us to help you - please order one sample only

Looks like they've realised they can't give free P&P so have added this section:

'P&P is chargeable if you order a sample on its own, so it's best to order it at the same time as you're ordering other items'
