Excel parking - pcn cancelled - Thank you

Hello.
I would like to thank you for the advice, which helped me to get the pcn cancelled.
The incident happened at the Peel Centre in Stockport. My wife and I visited Stockport for the first time and went to Boots to buy some pregnancy supplements for my wife. We did not stay long but did not see the pay parking sign. After about 2 weeks I received the parking charges notice from Excel Parking, asking me to pay £100 (or £60 if it is paid within two weeks) for 47 minutes stay at the car park.
While I was searching for an appeal letter template I found this forum. I took the advice and wrote to the management/landowner of the car park, giving my explanation and the Boots receipt copy as proof. A week later, I received the reply from the management/landowner, telling me that the parking charges have been cancelled. And today I received the confirmation letter from Excel Parking.
These are the contact details:
Mr. Adam Jolley. Assistant Retail Park Manager. Email: a.jolley@peel.co.uk
Ms. Nicola Dearden. Property Manager. Email: Ndearden@peel.co.uk
(Apologise for my poor english)
I really hope that someone will find this useful.
Best wishes

I didn't see any poor English! Well done. ALWAYS complain to landowners/retailers - you did well because the Peel Centre are not known for caring two hoots about cancelling Excel 'PCNs'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
