Hi. I'd be grateful for some help here. I just changed to fibre internet (TalkTalk) and installed the new router. Now, although I can see the nas drive I get this message when clicking on it:
Seagate 407C88 is not accessible you might not have permission to use this network etc. specified login session does not exist.
I've looked at the network sharing centre but can't see what to change to correct this. Other computers and devices in the house can access the drive ok. It's something simple I'm sure.
Thanks

If above fails you may have run into this:

Is this the only W10 machine accessing the NAS ?Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
Thanks for the link. I've looked at all the settings I can see but still can't access the drive. Explorer shows Network and the name of my computer and the nas drive. But still get the not accessible message if I click the nas drive.
I don't know what I must change!0 -
Fightsback.
Just seen your post. had very recent Windows update coinciding with new router. So new router maybe a red herring. Other Windows 10 PC can access nas drive OK as can a laptop running Vista. I'll look at your link. Thanks0 -
Fightsback
Reading the forum posts suggests either resetting the network (don't know how to do that) or uninstalling the update (don't know how to do that either). will google0
