In a rut/ jobs advice

Hello :cheesy:
New here so Hi
I've been unemployed since Feb 15. I took voluntary redundancy from Civil Service. I have caring responsibilities for 3 close family members just now. I've been applying for various jobs in the admin sector but to no avail.(although I've had a couple of interviews) I can put my hands up and say I've been too selective in terms of jobs partly because I'm not signing on -so I don't have the Job Centre breathing down my neck.
I'm now in a totally rut, and don't really know how to get out it. I've completed an introduction course in Human Resources thinking that would perk me up but it hasn't.
I have an INFJ personality. I find dealing with the public draining and I couldn't stand being on a phone for 8 hours a day.
I would love a job working on my own (not self employed) but all the jobs for this are freelance self employed, or a casual basis.
Anyone know good tips for getting out a rut ? Any suggestions for a part time job (for care commitments) that you work on your own ,no public/limited, paid work and not self employed.
Thanks for reading -I appreciate your help and responses:j

What skills do you have? The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Maybe try changing your approach. I did like 100 applications online and got as many dings. The labour market is defunct, and you have to find your ways around its imperfect laws. I would advise networking/cold calling/linkedin stalking - treat getting an interview like a sale, you need to sell yourself!
