Table Tennis Bats

We have recently had a table tennis table installed in our canteen in work, and a lot of people have started buying their own table tennis bats as the work bats are not that good. One lad bought a bat off ebay from Hong Kong which cost him £15 and it was also a top make but for the life of me I can`t remember what the make is called. I am hoping that someone from this superb site will be able to find me a top table tennis bat ( my game is based on speed rather than spin ) for less than £15. Apparently the really top bats are made of wood which is what the lads is made of. I have actually told everyone in work that I will beat the price he paid so please help me out all you superb money saving experts as no-one will believe me. I look forward to all your replies.

was it a Stiga bat though, they are a quality make

Poundland sell 2 bats for £1. Dont think they're professional bats though.
