Electric Knives

Hi Folks
Noticed Lidls are doing an electric carving knife. I had one years ago and didn't rate it too much. However, I have had trouble lately carving joints which crumble with loads of crumbs (my knives probably not sharp enough although I have tried to sharpen). Is this a useful investment (£14.99 I think) or should I just go to IKEA and buy a couple of new sharp carving knives? I should mention by the way that I tend to cook roasts in SC overnight, cool, refridgerate and then carve.
Would welcome comments.

Not sure Grannybroon I've often looked at them and wondered if it would be easier I will be interested in getting one if the comments are favourable although having said that I do have very sharp carving knivesI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

I bought an electric knife and use it. It's good for bread, chicken, meats, cheese, anything you need to slice. It slices finer than you could manage so I suppose it's helping the cash flow.0
