Hi all have compleyed my application. It was easier to complete than i thought took me hrs like. Onky one thing is it disnt ask for hubbys income but also mt the time i put my half in for what i pay im like -100 pounds. I didnt put anythinf for alcohol or smoking ans nothing really for socialsing. Is that ok?

    If you are already over your budget then allocating money towards other areas of spending would be futile, where would the money come from?

    Have you looked at your expenditure to see where you could cut back? It is important that you can find a stable budget and avoid being over extended during your bankruptcy.

    In addition to the points made above by alltaken, it is worth pointing out that the Insolvency Service guidance does not recognise cigarettes or alcohol as allowable expenditure in any case, so even if you had listed such figures the Official Receiver (OR) would almost certainly have disregarded them.


    If the OR needs any clarification on your household expenses, they can ask for it when you have your routine interview.
