Not really. These are all quite complex projects, with lots of vested interest and hurdles to overcome.

In China, they just bulldoze houses that are in the way, but for some reason people seem unhappy with that approach here.

Even in China people do have some rights and can hold up building projects because they weren't offered enough compensation, haha

I expect the August 2017 World Athletics Championship to be a conflicting attraction for Premier/Championship football in their new stadium. There is possibly Wembley as used by Spurs/NFL, perhaps even Leyton Orient may offer their ground to share.
