I didn't think to declare my PayPal account
How much !!!!!! will I be in with OR?
Not that there is any money in it but PP have said there is a linked account which I forgot I even had, which is negative balance (probably because I forgot about it). A transaction didn't go through which means I still owe PP money which would come under BR. From what I can gauge from the cocky !!!! at PP is that I paid for something using bank transfer and it didn't go through (couldn't tell you why, not enough money in there or issues with bank etc...)
So I have to declare it. But I didn't think to include it as its just PayPal... (hoping someone understands that thought process!)

It didn't occur to me to mention a PP account either. However, as I sold a load of stuff to raise money for my BR fees - it was clearly evident to the OR that I had one. It was never mentioned and my PP service was not disrupted. Don't stress about it.0

PP have said they will limit my account until I am no longer BR and then have to pay it back.
Tried to tell him that's not how a BR works. He got !!!!!! and said that you can't expect to get something and not pay for it for a long period of time without people wanting money for it.
If I could have punched him I would have. I then played tough cop and said I didn't need his attitude. Did he not realise its hard enough making yourself BR because you cannot afford the debts you have and he has no clue on my life. I didn't appreciate him being rude, and I told him I was trying to be resolve this.

I know it's tough but try to ignore the adviser. Contacting paypal/ebay about bankruptcy is like having teeth pulled. The advisers are quite often useless in this area - in my opinion.
4.147 explains more here, in my case eBay and Paypal were contacted and they still insist the debt exists to this day (I'm discharged). Best advice I can offer is not to contact them and if they contact you, inform the OR's office.0 -

Oh that's great! He probably already knows then! Phew! Did PP/eBay take the accounts away from you then? PP have taken my account away from me. Hubby also has a PP account so I could just use his, when I need to.0 -
They have done nothing, nada. Balance is exactly as it was pre-bankruptcy and remains unaltered in every aspect, I fully expect them to try passing the balance on to a collector again at some point. Not an issue since I have proof of the bankruptcy etc, but showing of their inability to follow what has happened.
It doesn't reflect on your credit report either, so when you eventually get to amending default dates after your bankruptcy, Paypal will not be a thought.0 -

Apparently PP have passed to a collector; I said they hadn't because no one had been in touch! I don't know what I would have done without this group! x0 -
No harm in letting the OR know, I found one or two other debts that I had forgotten about, no issues, they're included anyway due to bankruptcy being a 'catch-all' solution. If you ever receive contact just make sure not to get angry if they try telling you they're excluded from the bankruptcy, calmly let the OR's office know and carry on having a wonderful day.0

Paypal are a right pain.
I declared mine to the OR. Paypal got in a strop - my limited company account was overdrawn, but my personal account had a small credit.
After much complaining, debt collectors etc, paypal still don't appear to understand how bankruptcy works.
They then told me my account would be suspended and funds locked for 180 days, after which time *they will return the money to the OR*.
180+ days later, they emailed me to say I was unsuspended and to withdraw the funds, at which time I banned from paypal for ever due to the continuing fraud risk!
Of course, paypal don't seem to understand that their evident lack of KYC means I can just sign up with another email address, at my correct postal address..... and they've done absolutely nothing about it.
I even applied for PayPal credit for a laugh, which was declined.
So they will eventually write off the debt (at least I assume so, as I finally withdrew the positive personal balance, and I'm not being chased for the negative balance from the linked corporate account anymore).0
