Homemade sweets......how long do they last?

Well obviously not very long in my house with three children that eat anything in sight!

But if I am making sweets for Christmas hampers, does anyone have an idea on how long they'll keep for? Is this something I need to make just a week or so in advance?

The sweets I'm going to be making are:

The mini Chirstmas pudding ones (from this site)
Fudge
Marshmallow rocky road
Cherry brandy chocolates

I'll be keeping them refrigerated and with the sugar content, I wouldn't have thought that they'd go off quickly, but it's more of the textures I'm thinking of. I don't want to spend a fortune on ingredients to then have to go and make the lot again in two months time.

Christmas is a really busy time and so anything that I can prepare in advance is a bonus!

Can anyone help?

:o

(Apologies if the answer is somewhere else, I've searched in vain!)

Not long in our house! :D

I'd guess up to 2-4 weeks - fudge is ok in a tin or sealed plastic box for quite a while, choccies probably about 2 weeks, rocky road up to 4 weeks (is it crunchy? if so, may not stay that way...)

    You're very organised....can I place an order?

The last one I used was just butter, sugar, vanilla and evaporated milk just boiled up together (for about an hour!). Trouble was it crystallised a bit (although it was still completely passable and everyone loved it). So I'm going to try a difference recipe next time.
