Casing the joint out with a view to spamming I suspect..
That is what I thought, too.I reported it as spam last night, though see it hasn't been removed.
As you said upthread, you can ask a question like this and you get a hundred different ways of doing things.
The other day I set aside £50 cash to use for bits 'n bobs.At the same time I used my debit card for £10 worth of petrol, and grocery top-up.Of the cash,I spent just under £4 in Poundland (where everything in our local store is 90p).My daughter's birthday is tomorrow,so have been buying presents on card. This is the idea I had:"biggish" spends on card,smaller,unpredicatable,one-off spends using the cash.My hope is that it will make me a bit more aware of exactly where the frittered money goes, and maybe limit some spending.

Hi
I thought I would tell you how I work my finances.
I have my food and petrol money transferred into another account and then use my debit card to pay for these weekly. My budget for food is £60 and if I dont spend the full amount I move it to a savings account, even if it is only £1. The money soon adds.
All other money daughters activities, my pocket money go in seperate envelopes and spent if needed. In not stays in envelope for bigger purchases or hair cut.
Never use my account where all direct debits go out.
Hope that helps0
