Credit scores are meaningless, it's what CRA's rate you. Lenders have their own criteria.

To me, your credit score is probably worth three hobnob biscuits. To lenders it's probably worth one fluffy lollipop under a cushion of a sofa.

It means that you have read all the above posts and are still going on about 'credit scores'.

Hopefully, it has now sunk in that credit scores means diddly squat. It's your credit history that matters, not some meaningless number that has been thought up by an organisation to extract money from the gullible and the uninformed.

I thought what I had said was clear, what zx81 said is just an extension of what I said.

hi, im new on here on 2 questions want to ask my credit score is 856 which is in fair, nearly good on exprian pie chart, does any body know what the score has to be to be in good? also whats the minimum credit score for currys as im thinking of getting a new pc, dont want to apply for finance at min till i know score as im saving for a morgage, thank you

It's more Money saving to build the PC yourself. If you can't afford to buy the PC outright, you need to get your priorities right.

Scores mean nothing, it's your history that matters e.g CCJ's, defaults bankruptcy e.t.c

People are sure of themselves when it comes to these credit scores because it's true.
If you were to lend money to somebody, would you just go by what another company tells you or would you use your own methods?

Well, you wouldn't want to be advised by people who weren't, would you?

Well it was puzzling how you seemed to have ignored the factual information provided.

Personally, I would avoid buying a PC from currys. Its outdated tech most of the time.

If you really dont want to build yourself, then try someone like PC Specialist (they generally do 0% 12 month credit). Also try the pc part picker website - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ you could spec a PC from PCS and then see how much it would cost you to build yourself.
