The Money Shop

Good Morning All.

I took out a pay day loan with the Money Shop which I struggled to pay so I contacted them to arrange an alternative payment arrangement.
They are adamant that I can only pay by CPA (Continuous Payment Authority)
Has anyone paid them by other means?
If I continue to persist with the message that if I cannot pay by standing order they will receive no payment at all - do you think they will give in?

Awaiting your comments!

    Hi there,

These people will tell you anything wont they, you can send them a pot full of pennies if you wish.

Have you cancelled the CPA and your card payment ?

If not do so, otherwise they can take the lot at one go.

You can pay by any method you choose, not what they choose.

This is from there website :

"We usually take payment automatically from your debit card you provided when you applied. If you have a new debit card then please contact us on 0800 009 3565 and we will be able to update this information for you. If you no longer have a debit card, you can also call us to make alternative arrangements to pay us back."

Pick a method of repayment, send them a letter advising of this, job done.
