paying off creditors ? question

hi all i have debts of 14 k has any one negotiated 50 or 25% off creditors i have been paying a dm program 4 yrs but unhappy with them thanks Paul.

  • I think you can negotiate discounts if you are making lump sum payments to clear debts. i.e. settlement figures.

    Have you reclaimed all charges etc related to these debts, that can slay a balance sometimes. Assuming they aren't bank charges due to hold on them at present.

    Just some thoughts from me, but it'll bump your thread anyways!
    I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Have you posted your SOA on here yet, and also your debts.
    Who is the DMP with? is it CCS/payplan or a management company?

    There are templates available for full and final settlement figures, but im thinking that the DMP probably accounts for all your monthly money and im sure if you had any savings then they should have been declared?
