The strong green jute bags are BOGOF at the moment in Waitrose.

small size is usually £3, med £4.50 (I think), & I didn't see the price of the large ones.

The assistant told me that their own large insulated jute bags are also included and that they are £5.50.

She thought the range may about to be discontinued.

The jute bag I got from the local library didn't last. Maybe needed to have a plastic inner.

I've got three of the large Waitrose jute bags, a couple were those Emma Bridgewater designs for charity so were £5 each but they are great quality. If these green ones are similar quality they are well worth getting on BOGOF.

same here - although it was the handles that went first on mine. Did for a while though ;)

I think they must have sold out in my local Waitrose as I could not see any when I did my shop this morning.

Good to use as planters for plants, or veg, once the handles have died.

that is a good idea, never thought of that - and it had a pretty design on the front too.

However, my cousin stuffed it with rags and uses it as a garden 'cushion' :)
