What a nightmare with EDF. In my experience Octopus are a pleasure to deal with, so hopefully this will be the end of your fuel provider nightmares.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Absolute utilities nightmare for you @EH & at an expensive time when households need clarity & efficiency.I don't usually enthuse about energy companies, but I do think 🐙 is the best one we've used. The billing & comms are regular & easy to understand. Account v easy to manage online. When we had a problem (our smart meter stopped talking to them), it was dealt with by the same named person throughout, who updated me regularly.

It’s an absolute disgrace the way you kept getting cut off on the telephone. How many people are the paying to man the phones to get absolutely nowhere 😡January spends - £587.583

Eeek to EDF, I would have been breaking things after that many calls.I have stuck with the 8 legged provider after switching to them at the last house, mostly because they've always been good to deal with. Everything's online, the info is clear, they respond to emails (and actually apologise if they're slow) and they seem to have been clear about the current drama - my account info stated what would come in from the government support, and they've reduced my direct debit by that amount for those months.Debt free May 2016... I was more than a little frustrated by the whole thing it must be said - I am going to make a formal complaint but I’m also going to wait until the gas switch is accepted I think as I could genuinely see EDF just blocking it out of spite otherwise. I’ll give 🐙 a call tomorrow lunchtime and see how I get on.This will just be a short post - I’ll do a proper one tomorrow but yesterday was, it’s fair to say, a Good Day. I got invited to sit in a Spitfire at Duxford which was a quite incredible thrill - the guys who volunteer for the organisation who operate it were just SO passionate about the aircraft - and others in their organisation too, and we had a thoroughly lovely hour or so being shown various beautiful old aircraft and hearing about the histories etc. amazing! The sun shone all day too, the flying displays were great, the company was good…a lovely end to the airshow season!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
