Could you freeze them?0

I think freezing is the best option - it works well with 'solid' cakes like Madeira.
However, I am not sure if they are iced - freezing ruins fondant. If not, I would freeze them, then ice them after defrosting.
Keeping them in an airtight tin won't be harmful (unless it's buttercream icing -rare in shop bought cakes these days). If they are iced with fondant, I think that keeps the sponge quite well, but I've not done it.0 -

Frozen doesn't taste quite the same though. a cool dry place would be best (fridge=moisture in my book).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Just bring them round to BoP's pad. They'll be crumbs and beyond saving!0
