  • Excellent, ill certainly be doing that this week then. 6% sounds reasonable.

My new SOA is currently looking like:

Number of people in house hold: 2

    Incomings
My Net Income: 1668 (Salary) (down from previous due to pension contributions)
Partners Income: £1810 (Salary - She will refuse disclosure)

    Total: £3478

Expenses Note: These are just my expenses or my half of the household bills, for example TV licence is 12, but I have put 6.

    Rent - £325
    Tv licence: £6
    Council Tax: £61
    Gas: £30
    Electricity: £20
    Water: £20

    Pet insurance: £14
    Vet bills: £4

    Dentist: £10
    opticians: £3
    Prescriptions: £3

    Groceries: £175
    Toiletries: £10
    Alcohol: £20
    Meals at work: £40

Vehicle finance:£ 0 (partners car - she pays)
    Vehicle insurance: £55
    Vehicle tax: £3
    MOT and ongoing maintenance: £25
Fuel & Parking: £180 (My personal fuel costs-partner has a car through work)

    Childcare and maintenance: 0

    Clothing and footwear: £50
    Hairdressing: £10
    Home Phone internet TV: £11
    Mobile phone: £20
    Laundry: £5
    Hobbies leisure and sport: £100
    Newspaper, mags, stationary: £20
    Gifts: £20
    Smoking: £15 (personal - nicorettes)

Im also going to add others:

    Holiday: £20
House hold items: (broken appliances, plates and cutlery, bed linen etc) £30
    Emergency fund: £20

    Total: £1320

    Income - Expenses = £1668 - £1320 = £348

Assuming the OR won't allow for Alcohol, nicorette & hobbies and leisure that would leave me with an IPA of £483

I have not included the council tax, Gas/Elec and house insurance for the empty house I have as I am going to give the keys back and am hoping these expenses wont exist in a couple of months.
