Bike purchase

It will hopefully be a Dahon... although the model he wants only seems to be available in Germany... or if it's available here it has no mudguards... yadda yadda yadda...
That said, he was on a packed train this evening and came home muttering about Bromptons...My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Halfords can usually get any bike on the scheme even if they don't usually sell it. Only thing I'm not sure about is the warranty - is it thru halfords or with the bike manufacturer (like normal)? If anyone did go down this route it's be worth checking out. ie Trek give a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.
I too didn't understand the "buy back" clause and that's something I would worry about if our company introduced it - I could imagine them setting a high valuation and then selling it off to someone else !!! Also if you've maintained it over the 2 or 3 years you make it worth more !!!
But if my company did introduce it then I'd be buying a new commuter bike :-)0
