Amen to that post from Verbatim. Right, fair exchange is no robbery, you like reading about my books and I love your posts, Greying, so here is my latest purchase. I really, really like this one. The Savvy Shopper's Cookbook. It's USP is that all the ingredients are available from discount supermarkets, oh get in! You will have twigged my devotion to Mr Al I think.
    Not to mention Her0n F00ds.

It's just been published so there may be a delay before it appears in public libraries.
More books have hit my doormat, will share more later. Most bought, plus one freebie. I had better stop for a while, methinks.

*shoves past an exhausted looking postie* and stands on tip-toe to  to mcculloch over her pile of books.........

But love, that is a SUPER book suggestion - and did you knowthe author done got herself a blog?

Looks like there may be some interesting reading there too :D

Had to break off from posting as BG awoke from their nap :D

They are now on my lap and as yet are not quite up to speed with the afternoon :D

Better push orf. I need to begin tea prep. I've done some altering around (again) and I've been thinking as I have been copying up recipes (to the index - so keepers) about food and stuff in general. It will form a brain-dump post at some point, as I want to know if it's 'just me' or whether I will do myself a favour by staying on this track.

Ta for popping in, as ever. Yes, I'm hopeful we can at least make some advances on the 'house' front. something would be good. I need to set some goals and a time line. It's all in my head, it needs to come out, go on to paper and get morphed into reality!

    Back later. (Hopefully)

Just a quick in and out from me - tea has been made, pic taken and tucker scoffed, but I don't think I've the energy to do owt else!

    Therefore, today I am grateful for these 3 things;

my gal pals - just had 'text' convos with a couple of mine, wonderful! Huzzah to friendships :D

    baby giggles
:D - even if it was the sight of me hopping about after slicing my finger with my newly sharpened knife that set them off..........

    Progress
    - it's slow; achingly slow, but it's going in the right direction :T

Ta for popping in, reading and joining in. It is appreciated. Greatly.

Yes indeed - awful news to wake up to wasn't it. Those poor people - to just go for a good night out and to be confronted by that is just horrendous. And something that most of us I suspect can identify with as we've been in similar environments ourselves - the terror caused must have been immense. :(

A good time for us all to stop and think on the things we're grateful for I think - perhaps for a day at least we should all post three things on our diaries, "Greying styleeee"
