Stop Freezer Build-up?

I've noticed in quite a few publications lately adverts for a sort of 'liner' type thing that is supposed to stop your freezer from gathering any build up of ice/frost. They are a flat sheet that you place on the shelf or bottom of the drawer.
Has anyone used anything like this and do they really work?

Hi there
I have never used one of those, but every time i defrost my freezer, i wipe the inside over with neat fabric softener -switch it back on let it freeze and then put everything back in... my freezer can be switched off, defrosted and back on again in under 30mins now :T ..the ice drops of in sheets -easily -i have never had the smell taint any food either (a question i get asked a lot)...although you can use glycerine too - available in the baking section in supermarkets....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
