Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
My eyebrows are so light that it looks like I don't have any so I go to the college & they sort them out for me for £1.50, they last about 4 weeks. I'm sure your local college could sort yours out, even if you don't like them then at least you've not wasted much money. Otherwise I just pencil mine in a bit.

I also find those Asian/Middle Eastern threading shops/stalls are good for brows. I know a couple in shopping centres near me that charge less than a fiver for dyeing brows and they do a really nice job.

Thanks for all the replies and tips, having seen that picture I am definitely going to cancel my appointment! All the suggestions sound much more preferable and I will be trying those instead of HD brows:)
  • Seems to be an unpopular opinion but I actually get HD brows done, and they look nothing like that above pic.

The reason I started going is because I have had patches in my brows created by going to asian threading shops too often - they all wanted to do something different with my brows and it meant I had a weird shape left after 5+ years. The girl I go to does me a lovely shape, and tints them. You can have them as dark, or light as you like. It also means I don't have to work with them so much day to day as I can just use some brow gel and I'm good to go. I've been going since March and the holes are almost filled as we've worked to grow them back in.

I like it, but that's just my opinion. I think it also depends on who you go to, I was very lucky to find mine after looking at her body of work online. She doesn't do "sharpie" brows, which I think people associate HD brows with. It's more about creating a shape that works for you.

I call HD brows 'eyebrows by crayola' (sorry!)

Find a reputable, well recommend professional who can tattoo natural, brush strokes semi permanent brows. My friend went to the Shavata studio in London and hers are amazing!
