Littlewoods Statement

Hoping someone can help me please
Requested a statement from Littlewoods about 5 weeks ago and followed up again today requesting they send me a statement of my account (from 2011/2012) asap.
Today, they've told me it will come with a £5 charge which I'm determined not to pay, after all the charges I paid to them years ago. I know people are really good on the Payday reclaims thread, so could anyone offer any advice to get round this? They've also said they can only send via post, which can take up to 14 days (not sure what postal service they use!?!?)
Will the FOS only consider complaints from accounts under 6 years old? The LW account would have been opened around March 2011 (and I had it for a year or so) so the start of the account will be 6 years old in a few months time and I'm wondering whether they are playing the long wait to either try and get me to forget about it or for the account / debt to be over 6 yrs old?
Hope that all makes sense

Hi,
What is the end game here, what are you trying to achieve ?
Do you want to complain about something ?
If you look on there list of charges, copy statements are charged at £5 yes.
Making a complaint has nothing to do with when the account was opened, even if over 6 years ago, it only matters when you became aware of the problem.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
