Still not received prize

Last year through this site I entered and won a Mickey & Minnie Mouse Halloween Countdown calendar. Despite my numerous requests to receive it I am still waiting. Most of my emails have been ignored although she says she does reply to them. I have asked for her to resend the missing emails with her reasons for not fulfilling my win without any response. I was not sure about naming and shaming although I feel like it.

This is now the second Halloween my grandchildren have been disappointed. I hope she has not let other people down. I would imagine other bloggers would not be happy with her behaviour either.

I absolutely would name and shame her. Compers tend to take it very personally when someone scams a competition and doesn't give the prize. You'll get action that way and at the very least warn others to stay away from her blog.

    Advertising Standards Authority

(if they investigate the usual "punishment" if found guilty is to be told not to do it again)

Thanks I will do that even if it is only a rap of the knuckles.

    Good luck

It's more like a "not very stern glance" than a rap of the knuckles but there may be a cumulative effect if they do it repeatedly so each complaint might help.

I decided to give With Love From Lou one last chance so did not report her. She said she would pay me something instead by Paypal on 03 November but I am still waiting so she has forced my hand although I hate the thought of reporting anyone.

Wouldn't you know it, the ASA site is not working properly

Have managed to report her now. Will wait and see if anything happens.

Re: With Love From Lou competition

Thank you for your recent complaint about the above advertiser and their promotion.

We have contacted the advertiser and asked them to send your prize. As soon as we’ve received their response, we’ll let you know.

Thank you for your patience in this matter."

Really impressed with the A.S.A. They only took 10 days to resolve it for me.
    "
I have been in touch with the promoter. They would like to know if you are still happy to receive £30 (the apparent value of the prize) via PayPal in lieu of the prize? If so, please let me know which email address you would like the payment sent to."
Why she did not do this in the first place I will never know.

Just to let you know I have finally received the payment for non-receipt of my prize. I do not know why Louise Smith was so uncooperative but the ASA have brought the matter to a successful conclusion. Thank you for your help and advice.

"Many thanks for your patience while we chased this for you. After much back-and-forth, the promoter has emailed me this morning to say the payment has been sent to your PayPal account."
